Developing my Clairvoyance

In today's meditation, my spirit guides helped me work on my clairvoyance. I typically 'see' things with my third eye, but they rarely show up as actual visual pictures. More often than not, what I 'see' is an impression of an image, if that makes sense. I have had other mediums tell me they actually physically see things - as if they are on a movie screen - even with their eyes open. That is just wild to me! What an incredible way to receive messages from spirit.

I will occasionally get imagery during meditation, but it's typically a few random things at a time, and not for very long. Today was different. I've never partaken in psychedelic substances, but from what I've been told, I think what I witnessed could probably best be likened to that experience. I was shown imagery in vivid color. None of it seemingly connected to one another. It was more just like a flow of images being shown to me on a movie screen. Before I relaxed into it, I was trying to analyze each thing that I was being shown. My guides told me to stop trying to jump into my analysis brain and just let it flow. I saw things in the ocean from ancient times to the present: crinoids, a plesiosaurus, kelp, a whale shark. I was shown a sea cave which I entered as if I had the perspective of a drone - the cerulean ocean below and the dark walls of the lava tube cave above me.

I saw several representations of trains: train tracks, the inside of Grand Central Station in New York City. I was shown the incredibly vivid image of a teenage boy. Part of me actually wonders if this kid is a missing person. I made a note of his description and am going to research it. Toward the end of today's journey, I was shown the image of someone looking at the sun through paper sun filter glasses - the kind you'd see if someone were viewing a solar eclipse. I was also shown an image of the surface of the sun through a Helium II filter. Finally, I was taken out to the outer solar system, and was given a fly through of Saturn's rings. I could see the minuscule ice and dust particles that comprise the ring bands. And the most interesting part of all - Enceladus. Now in my old job I worked on a project that was destined for Enceladus with the intention of investigating the icy plumes emanating from the south pole - better known as the 'tiger stripes.' The current scientific thought is that the subsurface ocean of Enceladus could harbor conditions that are suitable for life. Here's where it gets weird (as if a random walk through of imagery isn't strange enough). I was shown the microbes that exist in that ocean. I thought my exercise was an interesting blend of my newfound spirituality and my life experience working for NASA. Perhaps one day we will send that probe to Enceladus and get scientific verification.

I never know what to expect when I enter my meditative state, but I'm glad that my spirit guides are taking the opportunity to help me expand my gifts.
